Every year, thousands of acres of forest land are lost to development, mining, forestry and oil drilling. Because trees are a natural filter of greenhouse gases, this rapid loss of forest is contributing to global warming.

ENEVILAF was formed with one goal in mind: to purchase large parcels of forest and preserve them as open space to offset carbon usage and help erase the environmental damage caused by greenhouse gas emissions.

What are Carbon Credits?

For a $50 contribution, ENEVILAF will set aside 100 square feet of deed restricted forest for you or your gift recipient. By law, this land must remain forever undeveloped and in its natural state, with no impact from human activity.

Each 100 square foot ENEVILAF parcel hosts an average of four trees, which can offset the amount of carbon added to the atmosphere in the average 8,000 mile car ride
For each $50 donation, you will receive a beautiful certificate showing that 100 square feet of deed restricted land has been purchased and set aside for you or your gift recipient.
Once the deed has been recorded, you will also receive a copy of the deed indicating the exact location of your ENEVILAF parcel.
ENEVILAF's goal is to preserve one million acres of land by 2012. Over time, the natural tree activity in these protected acres will lower the impact of global warming by filtering tons of greenhouse gases from the air.
